Some Great Summer Music
There has been a huge increase in top quality musicians in the recent years and I have been lucky enough to witness some of these first hand as they slowly start to gain a larger and larger audience, here are some of my top break through acts for the warm summer we are about to have, give some of these artists a listen to if you get the chance as you really will not be disappointed by the sheer difference they are to the artists that are currently topping the charts.
London have grown one of my favourite artists of recent times, a quirky musician that uses looped music combined with his digital pianos to create a unique sound that I would have never heard before hadnt I been at one of his live shows where he was creating all these sounds to make them into one beautiful orchestral movement that literally blew everyone in the audience away, his mix of amazing lyrics and stunning vocals help to create one of the most unique electronica fused artists to come out of this century. Where he goes other musicians wouldnt even dare, if you have a chance to check out one of his live shows make sure you do.
The next band that I have been obsessing with is the fourth studio album created by Bedouin Soundclash called Light the Horizon, they have hit the nail on the head with a much darker approach to this album than on the previous three albums but it happens to work perfectly, it could have something to do with their new drummer but either way you should give this album a listen, this they have a new drummer who also happens to play the pianos.
James Blake is the final name on my list, as there has been a sharp rise in people listening to dub step and other forms of drum and bass, this artist has taken that and mixed into a semi acoustic track with his melodies making an eerie and slightly spooky soundtrack to enjoy on the warm summer nights track limit your love is the best and its use of grand pianos.
